CEO and Co-Founder | Chamber Trade Sweden (CTS)
Charlotte Kalin is the CEO and one of the co-founders of Chamber Trade Sweden (CTS), a non-profit international business platform for the Swedish chambers and other business organisations. Since 2012, CTS has run projects strengthening the private sector—especially women’s economic empowerment, in Africa, Iraq, Indonesia and Pakistan.
Charlotte has almost 25 years of international experience in trade and competitiveness issues at different business and government organisations. She has been the head of international and EU issues at several business organisations, including the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (2008-2011) and the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (1997-2007). She served as the EU Director for the Transatlantic Business Dialogue 2000-2002, facilitating transatlantic trade and investment.
Charlotte holds a degree in business administration, economics and political science from Uppsala University, Sweden, (1990). She studied international relations and economic development at the University of Minnesota and was a scholar with the US State Department’s International Leadership Program on Trade and Economic Development.
