March 8th event being hosted by organizers of Sarnia Modern Women Show

IWEC wants all women to celebrate International Women’s Day by going into a local school into classes with 7, 8 and 9-year-olds to just get in front of them and tell them what you do.  Young boys and girls need to see female role models in all industries and leading companies in all facets of life!

It is great to also great to see what other women throughout the world are doing to celebrate the day!

Two local entrepreneurs (who happen to be women) are busy not only building their separate businesses but also working hard to make sure the people they connect with have an opportunity to do the same.

One of those, Julie Jenkins, is broker of record for the local EXIT Realty franchise. Together with Leanne Fera, owner of Meraki Inspired Painting & Design on Maxwell Street, the two are also owners of the Sarnia Modern Women’s Show.

Under that banner, Jenkins and Fera plan to celebrate International Women’s Day (Wednesday, March 8, 2017) with an event that they hope will inspire and motivate all who attend.

The organizers are bringing in two notable speakers for the event, tickets for which are $50 and available HERE.

The event, which is at the Holiday Inn on Venetian Blvd. in Point Edward, will feature Jennifer and Rita from Pink Ink along with AnneMarie from Street Boutique Canada – Fashion Truck & Store.

Julie Jenkins makes her “pitch” for why you should attend this event-watch her video here:
