The Taiwan Women’s Entrepreneurial Association Chooses Li-Min Wu, CEO, Madam Rose Tea Salon, for 2017 IWEC Award

The IWEC Foundation is pleased to announce the 2017 IWEC honoree from Taiwan, Li-Min Wu.  Ms. Wu retired from financial industry in 2002 to pursue her dream of owning her own business.  She established The Madam Rose Tea Salon Co., Ltd in 2003 and is the CEO. “Madam Rose” is a well-known catering industry mainly providing afternoon tea, distinguished catering service, coffee, china-wares and art works for both sale and exhibition.  Currently, Madam Rose has over 60 employees working at the flagship store in Taipei, Taiwan. Their products are sold at the tea salons in Taipei, as well as selected shops in Shanghai, China. The spirit of Madam Rose symbolizes happiness, hope, romantic and love.

Ms. Wu will be attending the 10th Annual IWEC Conference, held on Nov. 12-14th in Redmond, Washington,  to accept her award.

The 2017 IWEC conference, whose theme is “Connecting Women Businesses Globally: Accelerating Growth through Innovation & Technology”, celebrates a milestone: IWEC’s 10th anniversary. The conference is sponsored by Microsoft and hosted at their corporate headquarters in Washington state.  The theme of the conference is very fitting not only for the venue, but for the emphasis that IWEC places on mentoring, education and cross-collaboration across borders. The conference agenda is a thought-provoking set of panels and presentations covering threads such as “Doing Business in the U.S.”, “Artificial Intelligence” and “Cybersecurity and Blockchain”, among others.
