Thank you for visiting The IWEC Foundation website. The IWEC Foundation offers a variety of ways to support our mission, through donations, event sponsorships, event ticket purchases, journal ads and bidding on auction items. The following describes The IWEC Foundation refund policy for each type of transaction:

Donations

For donations made using the website:

If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to The IWEC Foundation, we will honor your request for a refund made within 15 days of your donation. To request a refund, email info@iwecfoundation.org. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Event Sponsorship

For payment of event sponsorships made using the website:

The IWEC Foundation reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If The IWEC Foundation cancels an event, sponsors will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, The IWEC Foundation has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer the sponsorship to the same event at the new, future date.

Cancellation of a sponsorship by the sponsor, must be made 60 days prior to the event to be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be given for any cancellations of a sponsorship within 60 days of the event. To request a refund, send an email to info@iwecfoundation.org. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you paid for your sponsorship by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Event Tickets

For payment of event tickets made using the website:

The IWEC Foundation reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If The IWEC Foundation cancels an event, ticket buyers will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event The IWEC Foundation has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer the event ticket to the same event at the new, future date.

By purchasing an event ticket (including the IWEC Conference), you understand that all sales are final at the point of purchase, whether you use your ticket(s) or not. No refunds will be issued within 21 days of the event.

To request a refund, send an email to info@iwecfoundation.org. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you paid for your event ticket by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card should the refund be approved by the IWEC Foundation.

Journal Ads

For payment of journal ads made using the website:

The IWEC Foundation reserves the right to cancel a journal due to low ad sales or other circumstances which would make the journal non-viable. If The IWEC Foundation cancels the journal, advertisers will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of a journal, The IWEC Foundation has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer the advertisement to the same journal at the new, future date. Cancellation of a journal ad by the advertiser, must be made 60 days prior to the publication of the journal to be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be given for any cancellations of a journal ad within 60 days of the publication date. To request a refund, send an email to info@iwecfoundation.org. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you paid for your journal ad by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Auctions

For payment of auction items made using the website:

You may return an item purchased through the auction, if the item received is damaged or substantially different from its listing. In order to receive a refund, you must notify The IWEC Foundation of your intention to return the item as “damaged” or as “not as described” within seven (7) days of receipt. The auction item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging and shipped or delivered at your cost. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. To request a refund, email info@iwecfoundation.org. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you paid for your auction item by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
