Yolanda is a general manager and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in global marketing, business development and change management in the luxury goods and executive education industry. She currently works as Managing Director of International Open Programs at the prestigious IESE Business School. She has developed her professional career in London, Milan, New York, the Middle East and Barcelona. Her solid experience at IESE embraces different responsibilities over a decade ranging from Executive Director of the full-time MBA Program (2004-2008) and Marketing Director (2008-2010) to Director of Business Development for the Middle East & UK (2010-2013). She is thrilled to lead multinational teams and clients from more than 40 countries.
Prior to her managerial career, Yolanda has also served as consultant for the Ministry of Industry in the United Kingdom (clothing industry task-force) and also served as media correspondent for ABC newspaper in Spain and Fashion TV Media in Italy. Yolanda is passionate about arts and aesthetics which made her start the non-for-profit Kalon & Agathon devoted to the promotion of emerging artists internationally. As an entrepreneur she also won third place in the European Business Plan Competition 2004 among 1,800 competitors. Yolanda has been quoted as an entrepreneur in local Spanish media and the Wall Street Journal and also as member of the WSJ Women in The Economy Task-force.
